Growth and Development Media is an independent publisher, founded in 2024. We produce books and related learning resources. Currently we offer self-help and business non-fiction for adults and teenagers, and we're working on a separate romance fiction line in 2026.
As you can probably tell from our business name, we aim to help people grow and develop at a personal level. Our non-fiction books share engaging knowledge, irresistible insights, and practical strategies that educate and inspire. Our vision is to help people to grow and develop so they can create change personally and professionally, and live their best lives.
Who's behind the business?
The business is led by Cherry and Peter Vanderbeke. Both global travellers, they've had long careers as technology consultants, senior executives, business owners, and business mentors, and wanted to share their combined knowledge with as wide an audience as possible through books. Cherry is also an avid reader of romance novels, and is a language nerd, with a love of words and good grammar!
As a business and as a team we are: authentic, approachable, welcoming, practical, trustworthy, accurate, wise. Our philosophy is that learning should also have an element of fun, to help the learning stick. (We call that 'serious fun' because it's fun with a purpose.)
When we interact with people through our books and other learning resources our approach is to educate, coach, encourage, inspire, and entertain.
Most of all, we hope you enjoy and benefit from any book that you obtain from us, by learning something new or being entertained. Preferably both!
